You know it is funny to me how the big bang theory closely relates to Genesis Chapter 1? The more I study the big bang theory, that all these scientists have spent millions of dollars trying to figure out how the earth was created, someone who recorded what God told them to write THOUSANDS of years ago, before the Large Hadron Collider, and all these atom smashers were invented, wrote down how God said He created it.
I have been doing a lot of research and breaking it down verse by verse, so expect more to come from this blog post as I find more evidence of God's existence. Most people won't deny God's existence, but they deny Jesus, so my hope is that as scientist find more "hard evidence" of the creation of the universe, you will see that God doesn't lie about what He does, so why would He lie about Jesus.
On to Genesis 1:1-3, 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
In the beginnig God creates the heavens and the earth, the earth was formless and empty. Scientists know nothing of what was before this event, so they basically say there was a void, when the big bang happened, all kinds of things started to happen, BANG, God created it! After the bang, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. In the timeline of the universe seen here, there was a time when the universe was SO dense, light could not travel through it, so that lines up with, "dark was over the surface of the deep".
We also see that the bible says the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. I just found an article published in Nature News.com that shortly after the big bang, in spite of the extremely high temperatures, that the early universe did in fact consist of liquid, it was just as much a liquid as the water in a cup according to Dmitri Kharzeev, one of the scientist who smashed the atoms and discovered the liquid.
And in verse three God said let there be light, and there was. Now, as I said earlier, according to the timeline, there was a time when light could not travel through the universe, then as matter began to expand even more, it was finally to the point when light could travel from one end to the other, probably about the time when God said let there be light, is when I am guessing light could travel across.
Expect to see more from me on this subject, but I was just not able to let this thought become lost like all of my other ramblings.
