Spirit of God

SO the Spirit of God moved freely today in our church as people cried out for Him. He has been showing up a lot more lately and I can't get enough of it. When I was growing up the teachings of the day was your bad and your going to hell if you sin, nothing you do is good enough, and while all this still holds true today, what was forgotten was the sacrifice God made to save us because He loves us so much. His love for us spans the fabric of time and the ends of the universe, that was never really emphasised to me, but now as He shows me more of Him, I can see more and more every day just how much He loves all of us. 

Pain of God

Ok so I know this post might be a bit touchy to some, but I will go ahead and post it anyways seeing as I only have two followers and I don't really post on here often enough to begin with. Ok so this weekend my sister-in-law who is in bad condition with the bottle, drank a lot again this past week. My wife and I are tired of helping her, not only that, we are tired of watching her destroy her life, while destroying ours by ways of collateral damage. 

But this isn't about all that, it is about a revelation God gave to me during all this. There was a moment in time when she was sitting on my front porch, drunk out of her mind, literally, when a though came to my mind, if her dad saw her like this it would break his heart into pieces. Then God spoke to me softly, how much more do you think this breaks My heart?
